Hey pron, the Pod will fit onto your current intake with a bit of work. No hassles.

The intake apeture is 70mm or 3in. Standard size for most cars. My pod worked a treat, I just prefer the CAI option personally.

a 3" pod will hook up straight to the intake pipe where it currently fits onto oyur air box, all you need is a small piece of 3" pipe (plastic guttering down pipe will do to join the 2 together. posted a link to a pic of my setup

Why not buy a K&N Typhoon kit if they make them for the 3.8's?

When I ran my SAAS pod (for the whole 2 days) I just jammed the pod neck into the flexible bit on the end of the intake, clamped, done, it sat on top of the bottom of the air box. If you're doing it properly I would suggest a short length of 3" PVC pipe to clamp both parts to, and a bracket of some kind. It was only an experiment anyway, I went back to the CAI and K&N panel.

Still running the same pod on the GFs VL... all good.

Nice one, that's where I originally put mine, then moved it down to the flexy bit.

If you are going to have the pod in the engine bay I suggest extending the pipe to right up against the back of the headlight. having it directly above the exhaust manifold like it is makes for a guarenteed bad take off when shes been sitting for a bit.
