Default manifold gasket and dizzy seals?

looks like i have a hole at the back of my engine, either in the manifold gasket from one of the crank case breather holes at the bottom of the valley or the dizzy is leaking. the manifold will pressurise but if you blow through the dipstick with the crank case isolated it just comes straight out the back of the engine, oil everywhere...

how hard is it to change the manifold gasket and what needs to be done to the dizzy to ensure it's sealing properly?

ie can i do it myself or should i pay someone :-P

you can do it yourself. its pretty simple, just undo the fuel supply and return lines, vacuum line from the booster, take off the top radiator hose, fuel line covers, heater hoses from water pump, throttle cable plate, pcv valve hose.
i think thats it, then just undo the bolts that hold the manifold down. scrape off the old gaskets, install the new ones and put a dab of flange sealant in each corner where the heads overhang the deck to stop oil leaks. then refit everything back to where it came from and off you go
i also doubt it would be your dizzy seals... they don't really wear out all that often

there is also a cam welch plug in the bac of the block i have only seen one of these leak before and it wasnt running out

you also have to drop the coolant, remove all the wiring for the injectors coolant sensors and idle speed motor ect
also the cork gaskets may need some sealant on them
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper
