If you take the new barrels to a locksmith, he can make your existing key fit the new locks... Did that to my ex's excel when we had to buy a new lock/door handle when some clown smashed it when the broke into it ...

My ignition key wont turn in the barrel anymore and i was wondering if this was similar in that if i did get a second hand barrel from a wreckers would i be able to get a key that fits? and is it easy to replace the barrel?

Pretty sure.. Just call up your local locksmith and ask them if the can re-key the locks... I am pretty sure they will be able to do it, but it never hurts to check first...

bought a complete set of new locks from my local Autopart store, cost $140 and was cheaper than getting second hand from a wrecker
