VN Code 42

well im still getting this code, the car keeps stalling thought is was fuel pump, changed the pump and its still doing it, next is CAS is there anything else that would thow a code 42 on a VN V6 series 2 engine?

Code 42 is Electronic Spark timing (EST) The manual speaks about the DFI module. Can scan page if required. DFI is the aluminium plate with some circuitry in it, is also has your three coils are sitting on top of.

so should i change the DFI module 1st? i know they tend to go a lot, i sell a few at work
