Harmonic balance off first n lock tight the bolt back on.

If you've had a backfire your MAP sensor may be stuffed too.

I had the same prob. I first replced the ECU and that made a little change but then i thought well i change the throttle body which made a really big difference with gas. It actually sounded like it was running 6 cylinders not 4. then check the O2 Sensor. But yeah change the CAS. That will make it start better.

you have to alighn the sensor with the cups on the back of the harmonic balance. if you dont get it in the right spot it will chew out the old sensor in a mater of seconds.
you will see what im talking about when you pull it apart

Thanx all for the input, thought i'd let you know all is good. Took a bit to crack the bolt so (being little) i used leg power haha stronger! yeah great look! squatting under bonnet. anyway test code 12-- no faults.
