    Default map sensor

    g,day, can anybody let me know where the map sensor is ?,and how to replace it ?, a mate recons it could be playing up,im thinking of getting a spare from the wreckers and try it out., thanks..............

    at the top of the fire wall on the left should be green and black if its the genuine one on there and will have GM on it

    Yeah its at the top of the passenger side firewall, it will have a vacuum line from the throttle body and a wiring connector with about 4 wires in it.

    i think so they'll have a 3 pin plug runnin from a sensor in the throttle body to it

    the sensor in that your thinking of is the tps or the idle speed motor

    the v8 map sensors are in the same spot as the v6 and they are the same as the v6s.

    in answer to the first question all you do is un plug the plug and hose unscrew the old sensor install the new sensor and plug every thing back in, easy as
    Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet,stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

    Is that the black little unit with the green plug?
