hi,just wondering, got elcheapo retreads on my vn and im pretty happy wear wise had em for a year done lotsa km. i recently rotated the tires checked em for bubbles ,seemed o'k', but i have(had it before swap) a steering wheel wobble at 80kmh and at 100 kmh its almost gone,at 110 just fine, the car doesnt vibrate just the steering wheel, what do yous reckon dont worry about it cause there retreads ,or look in to it further ?, mate reckons vn type commy's can have probs with steering racks etc, he says falc's (he's got one) have a tougher front end !!!., thanks.........
Due for a balance?
id say when they checked the tyres they have knocked one of the balance waights off
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

i have just recently got the same problem with my steering wheel, the vibration came just after i put some 18s on so i will be interested to know what the problem is, whether its the balance of the wheels or alignment
Id say wheel balance also.
I also have this problem, as soon as I got my 19's on. Vibrates around 70 onwards, stops by 90.
check the power steering rack. hold the rack up and if any/both inner tierod ends are floppy, their broken and need replacing.
