i see no poll, and wasnt there a thread about this already?
id go turbo if i could afford it. its more efficient and can make more power. superchargers are just easier to install and normally cheaper

I have seen a full turbo set up on ebay go for 2, or 3K .. They claim it is a bolt on ... See them there every now and then ... I can't remember the company that makes it ..

Supercharge!!! All the way! they will shit all over a turbo!

Plus with supercharging ya havn't got the lag to start! a lot cheaper and a lot easier to gain more power just by changing pulleys, and they are a bolt on power plant! and the grunt is there instantly!.

Show me a turbo producing much over 15psi that isn't breaking down and il'l show ya a supercharger running 21psi go flying past ya and running as smooth as a clock.

So that's my opinion m8 go the supercharger! victor bray cant be wrong! and il'l bet ya there aint a turbo alive that'll do him over the quarter! hehehe

Umm I had a Garrett GT30 running on my 4G63 at 15psi for daily driving, and 20psi as a secondary setting... Never had a problem ... Sure it was on a 4cyl motor, and it could have run on 25psi constant, but my FWD would not be able to put all the power to the ground and made it useless to run over 20psi

what compression do the VPs run?
i wouldnt boost it much either way without lowering comp first.

does the vp computer run a knock sensor?

how much can the transmissions put up with a cooler attached?

engine bay room and bonnet clearance (including piping)

ability to run piping to intercooler (if used)

just a few things to think about
i think aupercharging would be the cheaper option and probably the better of the 2 unless you got big bucks
    my web site
stuff on the XF throttle body conversion, calais interior and lots of other junk!

Hey thanks guys heaps...cost around $8000 for the conversion and $2500 for the two tone paint job....to be honest i have a ghost in the machine...engine runs amazing...blowing away bigger 4wd's on the sand like commodores have been doin on the roads for years...but lately plugs dying and lasting 1000km ,put new ,coil pack, plugs, leads, injectors, fuel filter, fuel pump check......i havent got a scan yet but thats next.....

I strongly recommend if your body is injured change your heart to a 4wd....i still feel like i'm takin my vp up giant hills and i'm about to get bogged.....lol
