Anything VN-VS WILL fit. Just dont get one with an airbag. Try the series 2 one again if it doesnt have an airbag. The steering column is the same VN-VS.

Yep, much better than the standard tractor tiller as well, only thing is you get a slight gap between the wheel and the plastic trim cover

Definitely, mine felt like a sports steering wheel compared to the original when I first changed it over, probably one of the best (and cheapest) interior mods people who don't want a sports steering wheel can do

The VP SS wheel is heaps smaller than a VN wheel but maybe the same size as a normal VP wheel, I have the VP SS wheel on mine. I could handle it smaller but it does look very sexy

    2cm is not a huge difference.If a vn is 410mm and a ss/calais wheel is 390mm.

its not the change in radius that you notice. its the circumference of the wheel that is noticeable, and because they are such a large wheel to begin with, a slight change in radius will result in a very big change in circumference

But are you guys crazy? Useing a VR/VS wheel leaves a massive gap between the column shroud and the back of the steering wheel. It looks very cheap and nasty lacking class in the fit.

the column shrouds are very different on the two models and the corresponding steering wheels allow for that.

Just get a sports wheel and boss kit from ya parts shop.
I always accidentally toot the horn on VS with the set up on them.

from the front looks good but from all other angles it looks like the work of a work experience panel beater (no offence intended to any work experience panel beaters)

if changing to a later model steering wheel, why not change the shroud as well as they have the same steering column.

Not crazy at all, for mine the majority of sports steering wheels available look cheaper and nastier than the VR\VS wheels anyway and at least I know my wheel is ADR approved

In terms of a decent four spoke steering wheel which is what my own personal preference is I'd rather spend $25 dollars on one of these wheels than $220+ for a Momo wheel..

The steering colum is different between VN/G/P/Q and VR/S. The shrouds can't be swaped. The splines on the column are the same and the wheel will actually sit the same distance away from the driver between models. The fact remains that there is a whopping great gap down the back of the wheel that is very visible from the side and through the windscreen and in no way enhances the car giving it a clean look other than from the driving position. It also, i might ad, is an illeagal mod as due to the gap between the shroud and wheel, the driver has the potential to get keys caught or fingers etc and hamper the drivers ability to control the car. It is illegal!
Cover that gap in some way that looks good and you have a result that is legal.
