nulon long life concentrated coolant good stuff use a 50/50 mix.
engine is dual fuel, i have heard that they run hotter temperature?
yeah should be fine, just go down to your local auto joint and get some concentrate. might wanna flush your system first
my web sitestuff on the XF throttle body conversion, calais interior and lots of other junk!
i always use Tectaloy 90 in all my cars and never ever had a problem with it.
I would recommend it to anyone.

go the Nulon, never had a bad product from them, and they offer great customer service too.
I used V Plus Green costs a bit more but its the OEM coolent used by holden for the V6
I got told that there is a recommended coolant to use for my VPV6. Was told that the reason is the material used in the welsh plugs reacts with the wrong coolant to cause them to corrode much more quickly. Thought this may be info to add to the collection!
one thing i dont like is demineralised water and anti-freeze/anti-boil.
Had that in my car and the temps were crap (after a mechanic did inlet mani swap) changed to the tectaloy 90 and instant change to lower temps.

can't remember the brand i've been using but it'd GM spec red stuff (american stuff i think)
Body by Holden, Soul by Brock

in my vp 3.8 i use the holden stuff mixed 50/50 with demineralised water. temp runs at just under 20% normally, up to 40% at times (when the fan kicks in). if you do change it, make sure that you pull all the hoses off to drain it, refill and run the engine up to temp, drain, repeat to get all the old stiff out (turn the heater on too, to drain the core). i think that so long as you stick to known brands you cant go too far wrong.
yeah thanks y'all will have a few choices now i guess 50/ 50 is the go
i have another question is it true F.O.R.D stands for Found On Rubbish Dumps
i had to have a chuckle at that one you know what my VN is the best car i have ever owned .............cheers fishman
The green GM coolant (or similar spec) is a short life coolant. The red GM coolant is a long life coolant. they both do a great job.
yeah running the nulon50/50 mix and temp gauge barely moves but i did snap the top of the air bleeder screw ......ah well thanks guys you rock
Any V type coolant. I use the Repco concentrate @ 50:50, works fine. Cheaper than Tectalloy V to.
I use the pink colour change coolant mixed 50/50, it works good havnt had any probs with it soo far.
Used to use tetaloy in me vn never had a problem with that either.
I would recommend to fully flush the system out if you going from the 'green' coloured coolant to 'red' coloured coolant, bacause they can react. And I was also suggested to use the same brand coolant everytime, I use Nulon, very good stuff.
