    Default Help, misfire?fuel mix?...CHUG CHUG

Hey guys, bought my v6 manual vn not long ago, after getting service by the mechanic and having allot of problems fixed, things wer good, now a month or so later i find that when im cruzing in 4th gear and i put the pedal to the floor, all i feel is what i can best discribe as maybe a misfire in one of the cylinders...some one said i might need to reset the fuel mix, as much as this mnight b a solution maybe worn down spark plugs.... some times when i start her up, the exhaust lets out a bit of a pop. yet after driving for a while some times the problem goes away, maybe letting the engine warm up 1st i dont know

anything you guys think might be relevant im open for suggestions...

    thanx

A misfire under load is usually electrical. Check your plugs, leads coilpacks etc. If you cant find a problem there it could also be a fuel filter or pump issue.

yep, a miss is normally plugs or leads. can't hurt however to do the fuel filter if it hasn't been done within the last year and some injector cleaner as well. how old are the VT coil packs?

Yeah I agree with the above posts, exactly the same thing happened with my VP, it was a faulty ignition lead. The engine would only misfire when it was under load and doing a few revs. I'd be surprised if this has anything to do with fuel.
