    Default radiator flush

hi,bugger, after all my previous work on the thermostat etc ,all seemed o'k', but oh no !!!/40km after leaving home the temp gauge reads to high, so we do a u-turn take the (light) caravan back home unhitch it and drive of again with the tent in the boot !, 37c temp outside but the car runs o'k' , temp dial slowley creeks up to half way but we make it !.,when i took the belt off before the
water pump seemed alright, so i suppose that leaves a radiator flush which i will get done tomorrow, the car used to run really cool up till a few weeks ago, now the dial slowly but surely rises and dont come back down till we go down a big hill or slow down, does this sound like a blocked radiator ?,and are there any tricks in getting it out ?., thanks.........

If the car was to get warm while sitting at the lights, but get cooler while driving then its usually a Blacked Radiator, Fan or Restricted air getting thru.
Still take it out and have it cleaned out. Seems like your car is getting hot while under even the slightest load.

If you get air trapped in the cooling system that is exactly what will happen.
The air bleeder valve isn't going to rid your system of all the air. I use an external resevoir that fits onto the top of the radiator and run the motor with idle and then revs etc and vent ALL the air out! When the thermo kicks in heaps of air bubbles out!
