does Fe2 suspension lower your car at all??? getting super low king springs on my vp tomorrow and need to no... we think its for Fe2 on it at the moment and putting superlows on it from there would be fine but if its stock the man at Wheelworx said that it would be too low and scrap n hit the gaurd... please help!!!!!!!
fe2 is about 15-20mm lower than standard height as far as i know. i had standard and fe2 springs next to each other and that was the difference. hope this helps
Scrape because of the wheels and tyres? I dont think so. What size wheels and tyres do you have?
heres the problem.... i want the car sitting on super lows but dont want scraping or hitting near the gaurd.... the bloke i bought the car off said it had Fe2 suspension but im not real sure if he was telling porkys or not... from the body to the top of the wheel is 60mm now... Wheelworx said it will be too low if we go down 50mm from where it is now so i need to know if the car has Fe2 already and if a series 2 vp with irs can be on super lows without hitting.... thanks for your reply camo5l
ive got 17'' rims with 235/45 tyres
yea i see now. have a look on the fire wall of your car and look at the build plate/s or wat eva they are it will have ieaint-code, susp.-code etc etc. it will tell you fe2 or not. have look dude you'l see wat i meen
righto on the plate it says like... paint-2b074
trim- 231
built- march92
then next its got - Susp.
with nothing next to it
Are your guards rolled? If they are, you will have no problems at all whether you have superlows or not. I have superlows in the rear, ultralows in the front and 245/35 19" tyres and have no issues at all.
if it not on there it not on there. so its all good you should be fine but that means you dont have fe2, no big deal really i think the only difference is the ride height. cheers
alright but it is possible that he put it in himself.... see how we go tomorrow thanks heaps
no probs, yea he could have quite easily done that
