hi, guys, I got a new redio head from a Landrover and wona change my in the VN. is this possible and could you please kindly show me how to remove the old one. many thanks.
Have a search around, I think there's quite a detailed guide on how to do this somewhere on the forum. Also, unless you have the manual for the Landrover head unit, you could come into some problems pairing up the wires correctly

hi, I notice it is very complicated and requires a lot of coffee drinking, so maybe I could not afford it. thanks anyway.
hey there. i just put an eclipse head & amp in my vp... and it went in sweet.. the issues you have to deal with are:
1. pohysically mounting the head. if its a DIN head (most are) thats cool - use the sub brackets off the original radio, put new holes in to suit the new head (its safer to drill new holes in the old brackts to suit the head than vice versa) and screw it in to the existing dash mounts.
Electrical/speakers. depending on who makes the head (most are made by one of a few big brands and then "rebadged" with the car makers name). Supacheap have common wiring adaptors to match the radio maker to your standard wiring (its worth the expense for one of these so if you want to sell the car you can slot the old radio back in easily). if you cant get one of these you have to match up the wires. if you have a book for the car it tells you what goes where on the car side. Most radios are standard too. its worth the effort.if you want more info ping me. pulling the dash to bits is fun.
