    Default Map sensor problem

Hi all i have recently had the Map sensors out of the VQ and VP and they have both developed an idle problem. They sometimes idle up to 1200 rpm while driving.
I have disconected the red lead from the battery for some time to reset things but it doesnt change. Both cars have the same problem. Can anybody help?

    Is the lines pluged in??
Have you Checked for any codes??
If there is any, or not, disconnect the MAP sensor wiring, start the engine for about a minute and a half or untill the engine light comes on. If you get a 34 code then check the vacuum line to the MAP sensor do see if you have damaged them or if there even blocked.
If you get a code 33 then check voltage at the ECU. If less then 1 volt then its probley a ECU prob, If theres more then 1 volt then its a short.
I can look up which termianl you need to look at on the ECU if you dont know it. But is probley something simple if both cars are doing it after you had the MAP sensors out of them.
