hey just a quick question, whenever i start the car, no matter what time of the day it is, about 90% of the time it will always blow white smoke and when i rev it lot it blows black smoke, whats the go?
white smoke is oil buring, black smoke is to much fuel and needs a good service
i am the god of britany spears womanizer on just dance on the wii
i thought white smoke was water in fuel, blue smoke was oil burning???
ok what u mean good service, and how would it be burnin oil or more like how can i fix it?
black smoke might be an oxygen sensor too
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
Yep, white smoke is oil, black/brown smoke is fuel. White steam is water, then you have serious problems.
Like walesy said, could be an oxy sensor, quick easy fix. I'd take it for a service and see what the mechanic says. Could have oil leaking past valve seals or something like that causing the oil smoke.

mmmm, I don't like smoke. If it blows a lot of the white stuff a lot of the time then you may have dead piston rings/valve stem seals. I don't think it would be an oxygen sensor causing overfueling if he's just giving it revs at idle. Black smoke could also indicate unhappy injectors.
