VP overdrive makes a vibration now and then

When I am driving in blue 'D' I notice a vibration sometimes that feels and sounds like when you drive over the white lines on the road. It only happens around 100kph and if i back off the throttle it stops. It only happens in overdrive, is it time to replace my transmission, or is this the famed 'loose bolt on the flex plate' I have read so much about here?!!

Try replacing your spark plugs/check your leads etc.

I know it sounds odd, but i had a similar problem and thats what it was.

it only happens in blue 'd', if i switch to normal d, it stops immediately. If i back off the throttle it stops, and it only does it at about 100kph

Probley a problem in your trans.
If you go on a long trip with the car you will probley find that you will blow the overdrive gear all together

torque converter. as your going along and it happens, accelerate more. if it stops but starts happenin again when you back off and cruise at 100, its def the torque converter. i just changed the whole trannie cause it was ###t. best $350 spent so far. hope this helps
