I have seen a mysterious beast!

I was driving along the highway the other day and I saw a VN with calais grill, painted in !!!!!!!!South Australian Interceptor blue!!!!!!!!! I know I know it's crazy I couldn't beleive it either I was sure they stoped making them blue with the last VL 5 liter interceptors but maybe just maybe they made VN's too?. I can't imagine anyone would paint a VN in that colour (except me), so what's the theory? did they make South Australian Blue highway patrol VN's or not?

if im thinking the same colour as you then theres one about 5 k's from my house, its a auto V6 with sv5000 rims and sv89 front bar.
its a funny looking colour if u ask me greenfoam lol

they did make a few blue vn ones then changed to white

Thanks guys, If you ask me that colour is all the way sexy! because back when I was a kid and you were over in South Australia you would see a light blue V8 Commodore with crazy ass fluro stripes all over it, that used to put some fear into you

There's a video of perhaps the most famous South oz ceptor in the country, it just happens to live in my town. A couple of my friends used to have some almost as beasty ones but I haven't seen any others for a while now

It might look a bit darker when it's not on youtube with the white background? but yeah that's the colour I saw on the VN the other day. Same as the VL's had and the VL's are fairly common, well not really but you do see one once in a while

i love that vl. i saw it at the casterton drags in 2005. a mate of mine raced him and only got beaten by a couple of seconds. hahaha
also i am more than sure i have seen that light blue on a vn at least twice. once was at the falls festival years. ago. i remember commoenting on how i like the other light blue better than the intercepter blue.. and i know i have seen another light blue one somewhere but i can't remember where

thats not such a bad color..... looks like a faded version of a sky blue... wouldnt put it on my car but it looks alright

yeah VN's were the last in that colour. i have a val that colour, been in the family since it was a cop car. it's cool, but it's off the road now, i don't think i could go back after the 'comfort' of the vs - like an aircon that works and pwr steering!

Nope hate the colour, remember telling my BIL when he bought his that it was the worst colour EVER. lol I cant stand it.

Definetly painted VN's that colour, or atleast early ones.
