transmission under warranty

got warranty with me vq stataman autos playin up now .when in top gear put foot down its like it jumps in neutral other gears slip.the other day reversing up driveway with tralier.revving at 2500 sliping put would grab and slip again.my question is the warranty does not cover friction plates or solinoid but covers every thing else torque convertor ectif the gear box is gone does any one now what i should be charged for friction plates solinoid while its been rebuild...the warranty only covers $1000 max.any ideas what ill be up for on top.thanks

sounds like the fluids just low,you should get a fluid change done first if its been slipping, see if it helps but if it doesnt then yeah i would just start saving about another $700 i suppose cos you will be hard pressed to find a place that will do it for under $1700 for a full rebuild

thanks mate.yeah done fluid 2 days ago levels ok checked when hot and running...i got a grand so i should be rite then hey.
