    Question Bloody Injectors?????

The injectors arnt holding the pressure.
After everything is off there still leaking, (into the manifold) also from winding it over so much it has filled her up full of fuel.
So ive had to dump the oil/petrol out and filler back up wit new oil..

So if this is happening thats why it wont go (flooded) Is that right????

Also I was told that they dont make the injectors anymore. Theres no point gettin hi flo or flash ass injectors cos me cars not puttin out the horsepower for them.
Does anyone know where or who would recondition them or have 8 spare for me?
    Cheers

try the wreckers, they are always your best friend for us VN/P owners, being old cars there's always a few at any given wreckers...

    cheers

I'd try replacing the 'O' rings in them first. Thats usually the main cause for leaking injectors.

But, if you do have to replace them...Have you called Holden to see if they have them? Places like Repco, Bursons, etc should all still have them. I'm pretty sure they still do make them as about 12 months ago I was looking to get some for my old VN V6. And they still had them then.

Try Holden and a few Auto Parts places. Maybe even see what's on Ebay. I've seen injector sets come up on there sometimes.

they still do make v8 injectors. its just a matter of finding the right place. before i went to the wreakers and got somone elses problems i would do a ring around and see if you could find some.

it wont be the o-rings if the fuel is inside the manifold and in the fuel. sounds loke the injectors are sticking open. if you find some injectors id recomend to flush the whole fuel system out including the tank and change the filter. just incase something is in there
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper

bought a set of re-manufactured injectors on e-bay for $75 including postage, ( 6 cyl), but they have made a huge improvement to my S1 VN.
Maybe you could find some on e-bay as well

v6 and v8 are the same injectors. so don't let anyone sell you v8 injectors for more than v6 injectors per each
