ill have a look at the fuse when my dad gets home since he took my car to work today for some unknown reason and left the ****box ford.
and if the fuse is good ill stick the old cluster in again and see if it works
reason i changed the cluster was,
bit that tells u how many km's u done doent work.
    speedo is like 15km out,
tacho doesnt move unless u rev it to like 3000rpm then it moves like normal.
fuel guage takes like 15mins before it moved and tempreture was sticky and it went up and down all the time.
i got a 2nd hand cluster off ebay put it in and i havent had any problems with it accept it wont light up.

check the bulbs in the back maybe, unusual for all of them to blow but, if the fuse is good, you may have to use a mulimeter to test the illumination wire that switches with your parking lights.

yea check your fuses, there are actually two fuses for the instrument cluster illumination. I had the same problem, didnt notice the i think its number 7 fuse, is also for the instrument illumination, was just a little 5A fuse. So yeah check your fuses, and make sure both are ok.

Yeah i beleive fuse no1 and fuse no7 are the cluster illumination fuses, although no1 controls a few other things. Glad i could help
