Default 18" Incubus Paranormal rims ...

New idea... since work kinda..sold.. the Drift Rs I had my eye on, I'm thinking about these Incubus Paranormal rims:
http://superbuytires.com/Incubus/Paranormal/ --> the lower of the 2 pictures - black and chrome

What do you guys think? Too tacky? Might look OK? I'm thinking more in the long run - I'm heading for a respray to dark blue with silver highlights in the bodykit, not for a couple of years yet though...

    Cheers

Yeah we run the XHP Dirty Dogs on a lot of cars at work ... They do look good - especially on a black VY SS ute
But I dunno about on a VN... the reason I like the Paranormal is they're interesting rim, and I reckon they'd set off a dark car with silver highlights. One day I'll have a set of 20" Paranormals I reckon.. but I think they might look a bit tacky on a VN. I'll see what happens - might wait and see what other rims come up for sale.

    Cool Incubus Rims

    Hey There Savage1987,

I can believe someone else like this rims as well, i would have to agree that they would go well on a darker colour car i am hoping that i can get a black VY and get the incubus 18" rims on it.

I was looking @ the Incubus - Paranormal Rims 18" For My VY When i get it around june/July this year have a loook at this site...

    http://www.tempetyres.com.au/product...t=&part_no=753

One of the other guys on the forum gave me this site where i found the incubus rims which i am going to get when i get my VY commodore Hell Yeah.

    I love These rims

Yeah that's the site where I first saw those rims!

Mate I don't mean to try to tell you what to do with your car, but I'll warn you that the 18" Paranormals do look a little.. small.. on a VY. I only say that because I've seen this combination recently at work. You'll honestly want to go with 19" at least in this style of wheel.
Just to give you something to work with, this combination will give you a really nice looking street car:
19" or 20" Paranormals (you'll need your guards rolled so they don't scrape, this isn't a big job)
2" or so lower than standard

It'll look great. Turns any VY into a really nice, clean looking street car.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers

Definitely go at least 19s. 18s look a little small with this particular rim. Still nice, just a bit small.

    Hey There,

I sent Tempetyres and email and asked them if you can even get them in 19" it seems that you cant all they told me is the size which they have were 18" $1800 and 20" $3200...

See what happens when i make my decision if i either get 18" or 20"

sorry about that guys, was away for a couple of days...
and sorry about the 19" mistake... i assumed it was 18" to 20", not 18" OR 20"... sorry

the black and chrome ones look mad as! on a black or red car they really set it off. haven't seen the 20s yet though
