i got a few questions about the level 3 cluster in vq statos. are they different to vn calais?
do they have the newer style warning lights, and do they have the warning chimes?
my level 3 dash needs replacing so i want to get a vq dash with more features.

yeh mate i think they are diffeent dont know bout ya other question but sorry dude
id say they are different but seeing as you have experience in rewiring the dash control modules then it wont be hard to mod the dash to fit. Just a matter of matching the PCBS and drawing a wiring diagram to suite... fiddly but worth it!!!

oh and i dont know hw you can go from L3 back to L1 again..... its such a **** house dash!! ewwww!
I have a VQ cluster in the shed - I can take a pic of the back for you if you like.
And yes it has chimes thingy in it.

Or i have a VN level 3 for sale ... Check the parts for sale thread...
Same looking clusters, just a few new warning lights on VQS2 - but you need a VQ Series 1
VN Calais = VQS1
VP Calais = VQS2
VP Calais / VQ have ABS, rear light bulb failure light, audiable alarms etc... so direct swap between series will cause problems as no BCM.

hahah yeah mines been tempremental lately... ive driven to work a few times now without a speedo... why do you want the stato dash for anyway, the chimes will just piss you off after awhile anyway, things like that loose their novalty... just grab a new L3.. well another L3 anyway.. or just go steal paradox's, just so he has to use a crappy L1 when his turbo project finishes :P
