What do i do?

I need to do something just dont know what.

I can either buy a newer car or fix up my beloved Misty.

She need a whole new exhaust system and her steering arms need replacing and the whole power steering is leaking alover the place.

What do I do?

I love my wagon and the fact it has 6 seats and If I upgrade my name wont fit LOL . Help me.

Doesn't sound like there's too much drama there but obviously depends on what you can and can't afford to have done..

Power steerings overhaul is pretty cheap on the Commies, probably because they are some of the parts that give the most grief (my complete power steering system overhaul cost me $450 in parts (reco'd and all with two year guarantee) and I did the work myself, it's not that hard of a job, just a little fiddly, especially getting the high pressure hose to the power steering pump..

If you've got the dough, might as well fix her up and upgrade a few things at the same time. New exhaust you say? Sports exhaust coming right up! Not much more expensive than standard if you go for something like a redback 2.5 inch catback. steering rack and pump etc. aren't really difficult jobs. Dunno about the steering arms, if you're talking about tie rods, there not exactly difficult either, getting the tie rod ends out of the steering knuckle can suck a bit, but they're generally not too bad.

I think my best option is to take it to the local mechanic and see how much he is going to charge to do the work as I dont have anywhere here to do it. Thanks for the replys guys will let ya know what happens. PS I am after a cheaper option at the moment.
