Yup, you gotta replace most of the under-dash bits of the cooling/heating system as well. Dash out. Fun fun fun!![]()
I have all the gear to do this and will be attempting the conversion in 2 or so weeks![]()
why would you bother going to all that trouble just for a climate control???
waste of time in my book

Depends what you classify as trouble... A days mucking around isnt too bad in my books. The hassle is just taking the dash out, the rest shuld be easy.

Good luck hope your real handy with electronics otherwise you'll get nothing but errors. You'll need to install three new sensors which will need to be calibrated properly to work. Don't forget that sun sensor otherwise you'll have very weak A/C.
i might just go to a wrecker and rip the whole thing out
MY CAR
Take the loom, heater box, sensors, l3 dash and controller unit.
Takes about 12 hours from start to finish. Every plug on the loom is unique so cant be stuffed upHeater box has its own loom to plug into the control unit.
Just get all the bits from the one car as close to the m/f date as your car!
And while your at it grab the c/control unit n bracket.
book an a/c regas (new seals) @ around $150.00.
