Question Black Switch Blocks... What Models??

Im searching for some switch blocks to suit a level 3 dash, as in the left one with trip computer buttons and right side with cruise control buttons. But I really want black ones, not grey, so what models came out with the black?

Im presuming VQ statesmans.. some VP Calais'... But what exact models? Anyone know?

Also how they say VN-VP switches for calais, They do get it wrong with that.
My car had a VN light switch and the dash lights didn't work, Changed too a VP they came on..
VN and VP L3 have different dimmers VN left switch VP right switch, So unless it's wired too them they might have the same problems as i did?.

thats not right.. theyre the same, i suspect one was faulty.. you cant get vn grey ones anymore, they all supercede to the black vp ones with black decals. theyre not cheap to buy new and are rare at the wreckers.. the calais have all the buttons, theres the ecec luxury pack that has cruise control on the one side.
Don't blame me, It's that damn percadan..
If you ask me, that stuff rots your brain...

Give me more credit then that. Do you think i wouldn't have tested other switches before we found the right one a VP one. I might have only had the car 1 week back then when this happened but it didn't take long too spot the problem was it wasn't a VP switch, And we soon stopped wasting money on clusters and switches and changed it too a VP one. Problem solved.
Think about it, On the right side you have on the VP a dimmer button, On the VN it's hazzard button, So that wire and plug that goes into the side switch is set for the Hazzards on the VN. But with the VP it's the dimmer for the dash lights. See why it didn't work. The Dimmer is on the left side on VN's and they are both wired accordingly.

They seem so similar but are so different in a couple of buttons. That's why on ebay when i see the buttons going and they say VN-VP i think don't be fooled unless you change wires they wont work 100%.

Dunno if Im a bit late but here is RHS switch block VP Calais S2 Black

    http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...w/DSCF1615.jpg

    And LHS

    http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q...w/DSCF1616.jpg

Interestingly the antenna up and down buttons do not work... when i pulled it apart there werent even the correct wires there to wire it up.... however i remember reading that they are only hooked up on a Berlina because the Calais radio does it automatically..... well something along those lines

the cluster hasnt got anything to do with it, its just that the loom to the block im sure.. i had a level 3 vn cluster in mine and vn blocks, now i have a level 3 cluster out of a vp 5L and run my vn blocks on it and it works fine.. i think the hazard was relocated to the other side as like a safety standard that might have been introduced.. dunno
