High 6's would be possible I think, 6.9 or 6.8.

They run 0-100 in 8.0, add on those mods and an all important tune and you can take a heap off that time... So yeah i'd believe high 6's.

Well my VP does it in 6 seconds flat, but it's a 5 liter . A good VN V6 with a exhaust and full out tune would be between 7 flat and 6.8 I'd say, but no where near 6 flat

Looking at the video Hozy's prolly close to 6.7 ish it's hard to tell exactly really but it should be around 6.4 without all the fuel and spare in it I'd say. It's a good example of how peak power means nothing at all. Most 5 liters with an exhaust but stock tune would be around that time and would show a peak power 30 or 40 rwkw more than Hozys car

Yeah but the VR is over a second slower from stock... But thats a poor time with those mods... Who did the tune and how was it timed?

it was far from accurate, thats, with no rev, and a stop watch (on my fone any how), times were 7.80 7.99 8.03

since those times ive had the diff and gearbox replaced and im saving for a low km motor, as the car has done around 230 000km

once the motors done ill be getting timed properly

I dunno, we've got some really steep hils around the Bridgetown area here in WA and I reckon I could get a stock VN to do a 6 flat....

Well I have a comment and you guys might thinks I'm full of S#!T but that's alright, I own a New Zealand built 1989 VN commy with a reconditioned seriesII motor (143,000 on the clock at the time of recon) chip tuned and pod filter with 2 1/2 inch exhaust, lowered, fuel 98 with octane boost, fastest time I have done is 0-100kph in 6.7sec, that's with no spare or extra weight in the car. Since I have the work done on this car it has never run under 7.2 sec from 0-100. I have beaten VR's VS's VT's (all V6's) maybe just lucky! or maybe just a sweet ride

he definitly wasted his money on fitting another ECU, especially as it won't get him 6 sec flat 0 to 100 with those mods. if he wants to front with atiming slip from the local 1/4 mile drag strip i'm sure many will eat there own words but not before, this reminds me ofthe 480rwhp n/a V6 guy

A VN doesnt need to be modified to beat VR's/VS's/VT's anyway. But those times are very believable mate.

whats the quickest 0-100 N/A V6 for a vn/p/r? and what would a stroker 4.2 be getting? because if practically stock (engine wise) engines are getting 6's.... would a stroker get into the 5's or not? veeeeery interesting
