Default Problems with VN Calias Cluster

Hi everyone....just wondering if anybodies encountered problem with a VN Calais Instrument cluster....Mine has a sticky fuel gauge but also the speedo dosent respond as u drive.

This is a second hand replacement with 325000 on the counter.....it also has a blown lightbulb for the fuel gauge and one of the bottom lcds sometimes dosent want to light up......

My old cluster had 293000 on the counter....but a sticky fuel gauge, the digital lcds didnt light up and my odomotor got scrambled with lost digits...

    I greatly appreciate some help....

    Thanks in advance
    Brendan

sticky fuel gauge has always been a problem for all vn/p's just give it the holden handshake.

with the speedo is the cluster form a v8? because i have heard that they cause them to play up.
    We got rep back, yaaay!

The trip computer has 4 very small globes ($16.00) at Holdens and $1.80 at Jcars. You need to pull the trip computer out of the cluster and undo the 3 small screws - flip the cover over and using a flat blade screw driver twist the globes out.

Yeap, replacing the blown globes are a piece of cake. Just don't buy them from Holden because they rip you off. Like GreenVN said.
