    Default strip

hi. we finally got our new compressor my dad got it at such a bargian because the previous owner baught it and couldnt use it because it has a 15amp socket on it ( large earth) never been used,. works great. now since we will be painting my car soon as soon as i buy the paint. im going a full white. like herion white or alpine white. should i go normal paint and then clear or 2pac. which one is better. also i want to know if i can pull these strips off the front and back bumper. it like a peice of clear hose with silver in side it. the sivers all faded and the hose is going yellow. am i able to get replacements cheap or should i just remove it. do u think it will look good with it removed? also should i remove these ones aswell on the doors?? is there like any rivet hole and stuff behind it?
also while im at it im removing every badge accept the boot badge? should i remove the boot badge aswell?

Definitely go 2pac, acrylic paint is crap.

Remove all badges, remove all trim (the strips on the doors and bumpers). Replace them later if you want.

Yeah just double sided tape stuff or some sikaflex too. Sifaflex wont be too thick because the strip is thin but you have to sand back all the paint anyway so you can take the sikaflex off then.

Just throw some boiling water over it (kettle of water) and start pulling it off.
