well, actually, it IS possible, but you need to do ALOT of modification to make them work, this includes either modding the block to take the vs cam or buying a custom ground cam with vs lobe layout to suit the vp/r block, then you need to make a custom intake manifold to suit, because the vp/r block is an inch taller or make spacers with a bit of difficulty.

so in the end, unless you're completely dedicated to sticking the top end of a cs motor on, just go drop in a super6 complete motor as Clunt said.

lol hakhawk, anythings possible to you!

short answer no.. if if u do bye bye money, as u need new headers rockers, rocker covers inlet manifold etc

dude just buy a VN-VR m90 inlet manifold, they make them

or just turbo it, will cost you the same ammount for more power

    gah, damn u para.

    short answer = YES

the heads themselves WILL bolt on with no other changes, its just all the extra stuff you've gotta sort out to make it all work

and no, they dont make a m90 inlet manifold, they make a M62 inlet manifold, because the american equivalent of the vn-vr motor came out in a supercharged form using the m62 blower.

everyone seems to call them a m90, but they ARE a M62

look at that site for a bit of info

you can see in this pic the different bolt patterns kinda, im trying to find pics of both from underneath.

the m62 is made for smaller motors than the m90, it pushes less air per rotation.

stay tuned, til i find these pics

:: edit :: ok, cant find any decent pics, but the m90 is wider overall to the m62 and wont fit on the m62 manifold without fabbing a custom adaptor plate, which means the mountings are all too different to be a direct swap over.

i bid on a manifold and a supercharger on ebay in the us. i didn't bid much incase it didn't fit. but they said it was an m90 and off a 3.8 buick. and was pretty old too. so maybe they stufed up and it was a m62

possibly, people often get them confused.

easiest way to tell is the snout length, the m62 is very short, a few inches maybe, but the m90 is longer, 5-6 inches i think. never really checked the length of one in person.

    using this pic again: http://i7.ebayimg.com/01/i/07/c1/08/0f_1_sbl.JPG

    the top ones a m62, bottoms a m90.

oh, just remember, the yanks got both the m62 and m90, m62 was on EV6 block(vp-vr) and the m90 on their l36(same as our ecotec, both yank and aussie super6's dubbed l67)
