Its just had standard rebuild plus stage 2 crow cam and chip and valves and springs , ported manifold. Pacemaker extractors, 3" exhaust, CAI. The crow chip is no good for it the bloke told me as its running to lean and a custom tune is in need and should be looking around the 180rwk mark hopefully.

i think the standard was 165 at the crank or something, so 174 at the wheels is an improvement.

Yep that's good power but about what you would expect with a good combination of parts like you have to suit the banana intake. You will gain more with a tune but mostly much more torque in the low and mid range so it will be faster in real life than the peak improvent on the dyno.

What valve springs are you running, I really need to change mine to cure my high rpm floaty valves :P

Shouldn't be getting valve float on your setup mate unless they are monster shagged!

They maybe shagged, I've heard the stock ones are pretty weak and normally do that over 5500, mine do anyways, well I have some kinda breakdown in smoothness at high rpms, I'm pretty sure it should be the springs. My limiter is set to 5700 it breaksdown a bit before that but is fine as till about 5300 or so. I do those kind of revs a few times a day so I really should have better springs

depending on the mileage they could definitly be well shagged. valve springs are a wearing part of an engine. if your hitting peak revs a lot then they would definitly be loosing there tension by 100 000km etc
