    Question VN Diff Axles?

I was just wondering if anybody knows how many splines does a standard VN s1 calais sedan rear live axle has? Because i have a VL turbo 28 spline diff and i was wondering if i have to change the axles, if so what do i get them out of?

    28 spline also.

ONLY difference between a VL turbo diff and a VN diff is the size, as the VN diff is wider. Oh and the VL diff has 3.45 gears not 3.08.

Both are a Borg Warner M78 diff, 4 pinion, 28 spline.

if your putting the vn axels into the vl housing you can cut them down 14mm and use a 1mm cutting disc to extend the splines... thats what i done.. never had troubles with them, just have a steady hand to make sure they are straight

So you have a VLT centre and VN housing/axles?

They should go together no worries.

ok, probably ok for the slightly better then average engine but i't would seriously compromise the structural integrity in high HP applications
