First of all do a fault code test, check all the hoses are still connected along with the ignition leads.

Could be Fuel pump, Crank Angle Sensor, coils/DFI unit, The CAS is the best place to start.

Easy to do and its free, getting Holden to do it would be about $40 - $60 depending on what mood they are in. Click the link in the second post, there is even a pic of where to put the paper clip.

    Default Similar Problem

    Hey

I am havinga similar problem on my own VN. I had just done a 500km trip, smooth as. However, the next morning it took ages to start, barely started, then ran rough as guts. Tried to take off as I thought it might work the kinks out and it stalled. It refused to start once it has stalled.

The same thing happened the next morning.

I have checked the leads and plugs.
    I don't have a fault, (reads 12)
The fuel pump is noisy and has been taking a while to stop after the car was running, I thought it might be that, but I am not sure.
Can I check the coil pack by pulling off the lead, letting it sit there while someone else turns the motor? Then if there is spark from all of the terminal it is ok?

I had the crank sensor and DFI/coil pack all replaced about 14 months ago, costing about $480. At uni now so I really don't want to spend money if I don't have to, currently relying on my gf's littly Hundai to get me around.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Rob
