Default Engine Fitted Wrong In VN?

hey all, just was looking over Wikipedia on commodores and read:

"Holden initially admitted to fitting the engine wrong in the VN, a problem which had been corrected in the VP Commodore. "

    fact or myth?

I dunno about wrong, but they did use a front wheel drive rushed import job version of the V6 which is why the inlet manifold is back to front on the VN series ones which was crazy and expensive for Holden with pipes all over the engine bay to reach the back of the manifold

Imagine these engines on front wheel drive cars (like some in America), you will be doing burnouts everytime you take off from the traffic lights.
