    Default spark leads

hey, just found the reason my calais aint boosting no more..

the turbo manifolds cooked my spark leads, and fouled them...

can i get shorter connector plus and what can i use to keep them out of the way of the intense heat of the turbo??

i was thinking of heat wrap or something?

Can you make a shield out of aluminium? You can get right-angled leads but I don't know how these would go in the Buick, I fit them when fitting tuned extractors to Chev engines.

Both right angled leads and heat shields are valid options. The VR-VT V8's apparently came with tubular heat shields for the leads. I found this out when I tried to use a set of leads labelled as being for VR-VT without the shields and the thicker ends got a bit too much heat from the extractors. Might be an idea to look into whether you can use those.
