My wifes car has lost spark, I was thinking rather than buy a coil and then maybe a module to try and work out what was wrong I might as well just upgrade the ignition, i have a hi6 here i bought for my old holden and was thinking of buying another 2nd hand one for the wifes car, crane hi 6 is a capacitance discharge ignition with a e core coil a bit like the msd 6al, it even has a built in fualt code LED for finding ignition problems.
Has anyone set one up on a vp 5l, if so what p/n box did you use? is it easy to hook up to the vp loom? were did you mount the box?
