cat bolts

ok i had to replace my exhaust and when removing it one of the cat bolts has snapped whats the best way to get the snapped bit out

The only way you are going to get that out is to drill it and re-tap it. Probably going to be easier off the car, run the tap through the other holes as well to clean the thread up and make it easier when you put it all back together.

yeah i was thinking about weilding another bot to it and using that to try and undo it

You can do that, but you would need to heat the cat where the snapped bolt is to a nice cherry red then wind it out. You will still have to run the tap through it though.
