    Default Quite a Problem

Car had been overheating and losing water at a rediculous rate over the last two days so i got in there and had a look around this arvo. i sourced the leak to be the hose between the block and the water pump. my first thought was that the hose clamp had simply come lose so i got a screwdriver and went to tighten it but the millisecond the screwdriver made contact it just fell off. so basically the mount that the hose is clamped to has snapped off and is still inside the hose and im stuck with no way to connect my cooling system.

ok so after the long story my question is:
is this a replacable peice or am i pretty stuffed?

im guessing that it broke off the waterpump, just buy a new waterpump and whack it on, easy to do.

series I or II. If its II i can help i think. If its the hose under the alternator between the water pump and intake it would have broke of the intake. there made of plastic and mine broke when i put the hose kit on my vn. you can buy replacement ones from motor traders only or holden. cheap part just a couple of bucks. once you get that you will need to take the thermostat housing off to get the other half of the plastic joiner out from the manifold. If its not this I cant help keep us all posted.
    Cheers
