o2 sensor open circiut, what does this mean? O2 sensor is less than 12months old, engine light keeps coming on and car is idleing a little funny, WHATS wrong with my car

This link helped me as to what O2 sensors are and what they do.

There might be a faulty wire on the O2 sensor or one of them might be shatted and needs replacing.

The O2 sensors on my old VS used to go every 12 months or so, couldn't figure out how to make them last longer.
