Hey all,
I have a dash light that came up for the first time today, and can't find a reference to it. I don't have a driver handbook, and there is nothing in the workshop manual (the ol' gregory's) about dash lights.
It comes up next to the engine lamp.
Just want to find out if anyone knows what it is. I've made a bitmap of it.
any clues?
Cheers,
Dan
Tail/ Brake Light Bulb Failure Warning
TAIL/BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE(if fitted)
to check that the warning light is working, the symbol is illuminated for a short time when the ignition is first turned on.
if the symbol is illuminated while the park/headlights are on, then a bulb failure of the tail lights is indicated.
if the symbol is displayed while depressing the brake pedal, than a bulb failure is indicated.
If the symbol flashes for 15 seconds, then a fuse failure (of either the brakes or park/head lights) is indicated.
coped from vp owners handbook.

Thanks for that guys.
Can't believe there's not at least a schematic of the dash in the manual.
