backlight problem

my back right light has recently stoped working. the indicator still works although when you press the brake or put the head light on it does not illuminate. i checked every fuse in my car and there all fine and took the light bulb out and looked at it and the filiments are still in perfect order. what do i do now?

mines the same mate take out the glob an see if the things in the light glob holder r rusted mines got a bad earth so i just got a wierd an got the black wier an put it to the bolts dat hold the light in now it works

Grab out your multimeter and start looking for voltage.

ye mate as crazy8 said tha problem will b in tha loom that tha globe sits in, eitha a wire in tha back will not b makin correct contact or tha loom will b all rusted and ****ty

ah found me problem. i pulled the globe out and in the bottom was sand and the contacts were dirty as all buggery. cleaned them with contact cleaner and it works again.
