AC Compressor making noise VN

My compressor on my VN's AC is making a hell of a noise! Im assuming its a bearing or something, but the AC doesnt work anyway, so i was wondering if is possible to get a different belt, that doesnt even go onto the AC compressor? Or how easy it is to fix the compressor.

You can get a belt for non airconditioned models. Replacing the clutch bearing on the compressor isn't difficult.
