ok then id say it most probablly the fact that u ran out of fuel and now its sucking thought all the crap it will take about 3 or 4 days to clear it when it happened to mine every time i would turn it off it made a sound like a high pitch squel sort of thing like when u hear turbo if its not gone in a coupdl of days ask ur mecanic to look over it and c what he recons:d

well from what ur telling me its the fuel line is blocking with crap from the bottom of the tank the best thing to do would bee to take it out on the highway and open it up take it for a run to clear it up and if that doesnt work u will have to get ur mecanic to clean the fuel line complettly and check it over from what im getting id just say its the fuel line and it will clear it sellf out does it rock a bit when u start it cause if it does well then that the prob and it will probablly need a tune after to

Well mine never gets hot enough to turn the engine fan on unless im sitting in traffic or in a drive thru so you might have to take it for a long drive and then sit somewhere with the engine running for a while to build up the temp then start driving again when it gets up.

Also you should never run a fuel injected car below a quarter of a tank of fuel because the fuel pump uses the fuel for cooling and lubrication and you should change your fuel filter if you havent done it recently. Its not something that gets thought about as it is up near the diff. My car was lacking in power and sounded very harsh at high revs so I changed my fuel filter last weekend and it fixed the problem, I poured out the fuel in the filter into a container and I couldnt see the bottom of the container because it had so much crap in it(the fuel was black).
Im not a complete idiot, some parts are still on backorder!

whilst you said you had a low tank and this is probably your problem, but i noticed in this post, you said your box needs a service,i'm assuming auto? there also maybe where your problem lies....torque convertor...even your kick down cable

    thanks for all the post

before i put a full tank in. and havn't gone for a drive yet gotta do other things first. but last when it seems to kick down it just has no power and the revs are high ( around the 3000 mark) but isn't goin anywhere. But it seems fine now but like i said havn't got it hot.

just try all your other easier checks first....i thought it sounded a bit strange the way you explained, thats why i said torque converter, thats why i posted when i saw you said you have to have tranny service..before assuming it's torque convertor, try kick down first, making sure your accelerator cable is adjusted properly first, then adjust your kickdown, even if it's one click at a time(before adjusting kickdown mark original spot first,in case it's not that,so you can slide it back to the original spot) taking it for a drive if it hasn't fixed it pull over and pull out 1 more click etc until it does make a difference,if it doesn't make a difference, then the problem doesn't lie there

ok back from the drive everything seems fine but it just seems to slow down quicker then normal. But last night a emergency brake test to see how good the brakes are. They seem to work pretty good, maybe from me doing that there kinda sticky or stuck on abit would i be right there? But otherwise the car is good. Thanks for all your help everyone next time your near me Beers allround.

    Cheers
