im looking at doing the usual stage 2 shift kit/oil trans cooler and corvete servo piston mods to my vp v6 n was wondering if any1 out there has done it for a price est and also i looked up how much a chip costs inc install and its $800 if I got the computer re-mapped also to run premium fuel, same thing but cheaper?

computer remap is the same thing as a "chip"
$800 is pure thievery for this, fitting takes 10 minutes to do yourself.

a good changeover memcal will cost you about $250

Hey I rebuild auto trannys by trade the cost would set you back prob 400 all up or you could spend a bit more get the thing rebuilt for a bit extra
