what price u guys think?
im thinking of seling my vq statesman and was wondering what price u guys think ill get for it.
heres a bit of info:
-only just hit 200k on odo
-paint is in perfect condition (apart from the odd spot) as it had a respray no more than 2 yrs ago
-stage 2 shift kit
-dvd player and 7inch screen and 2 amps and 15inch subby
-changed cluster dials to white
- and enigine is stock but all hoses/fan belts/leads have been changed within the last year same as battery and also got cai
-also lower all round on king supers
thats a few things i can think of for now so what u guys think

you dont get anymore for it with things like 7" screen i would take them out or new paint. a good one are about 8,000 i think. you should look in quokka or what ever you have and see how much they go for.

yea i would take out all your audio, and keep it or even sell it seperatly, youll get the same price for the car withouth that stuff in it i reckon.

I could have bought a couple of them in the last year or so for a touch over 3,000 one was mint but had a leaking steering rack (no big deal) it sold for $3,100 but I'd like to think you could get 4-5 grand for one normally. I got insurance yesterday and my VP is valued at $2900

If someone offered you 8k for a VQ right now today and you want to sell it you should have said deal, because that's 3 grand over the maximum that they are valued at. I doubt the guy was full on serious with the money in his pocket though
he's gonna get a loan to buy it if i sell but my only prob is i need another couple of grand to get the car i want and i cant get a loan cos im sub-contractor so its very hard and i need a car for my job as i am a tradie and i need to drive everywhere

Save hard and get that 2 grand then, lend someones old bomb in the meantime?
If someone has offered $8k let it go. I doubt the guy was serious, unless he put a deposit down
