hey can any one explain rollar rockers to me, what they do bla bla as i have no knowledge of them thx

they replace a flat tapit rocker (an arm that gets pushed by the push rod and puts pressure on the valve.) instead of metal rubbing on meta they have a roller pivot kind of like a see saw haha!

Some people will say yes some will say no. It's relative to your income. If you can justify around $800 for between 5 and 10 kW then do it. Some people will have more gains, it just depends on what else you run. You really need a good exhaust, extractors and a decent intake to take advantage of them. 20kW is achievable with all the above from stock.

Is there any point getting roller rockers if you are getting a cam?

Also will roller rockers effect the overlap of a cam at all? Or just the lift? (i.e. more lift but it doesnt increase the overlap period?)

Im looking at roller rockers and cams now and basically I want a custom ground Wade cam thats as lumpy as I can go without overlap (not very far) and wondering if its worth getting 1.8:1 ratio roller rockers as well from Yella Terra.

If your going a custom ground cam, just tell them what rockers you are using and they supply a cam with a lift taking into account the extra from the RR'ers.

jsut been looking at the crow cams web site and whats the deal with needing the twin cats, wouldnt that also be making your car a **** load quieter?

also how much round abouts are the packages? stage 3 package looks nifty

You can get a cam that will do the job of lifters, or you can get a cam that will work with the lifters, I can't see the point of both personally. My opinion on exhausts is in the other thread you have. Unless you supercharge it, twin anything isn't worth it. Just stick with the single 2 1/2". If you are planning on spending a lot of money, either start with a 5ltr or 5.7ltr. Less money to spend on the engine for better gains. You may end up spending more than it is to buy a 5 ltr and not have the same output as a stock one. More cubes, more cylinders equals more power. Just keep an eye on the $ ratio otherwise you will have an expensive shopping trolley. Unless of course you can afford it and money is no object.

yer ur right, cause when i get my new car the vp's going out the back fo a project car, and i was gonna put a v8 in it, so i guess their is not much point doing up the v6 aye, wot would u guys recomend i do for now to get a bit more performance wise, i kno the intake, exhaust, extractors is the way, is there anything else much i can do for a bit more?

Adjustable rockers are a overkill for hyd cams so you can save your cash there. Rockers dont control valve overlap just lift. its better to have a little overlap then none at all. Get a cam with the lift you want then ask if you can go a higher ratio rocker. Most stage two cams you can go a higher ratio. Youl get the benifit of a slightly lumpier cam. Youd probly want to upgrade your springs ect at this stage.
