Default Upgraded Brake Booster then Cruise Dies

I have had a V8 Booster and master cylinder fitted to the wagon and its killed the cruise control.

I was thinking it would be something to do with the brake switches - the brake lights work fine. Cruise wont engage.

What am I missing - Fuse is OK

I Didnt put it in and the bloke how did is away until Friday.

Is the cruse switch a "cut the power" type switch, so it will need to click when the brake is pressed. Oh its too hard.

Yep thats the one. If that switch isn't connected or knocked out of whack, your cruise won't work.

The switch is located at the top of the brake peddle about 200mm above the foot pad of the brake peddle.

Just an update - got the cruise working. Went and scabbed a cruise module from the local wreckers to test is the unit was caktus and bugger me if the cruise plug just fell away from the unit. Some mechanic had unplugged it or not put it back in properly . Soo I plugged it in and away she went. Alls good.

Good to see you got it working, and also that you let us know what it was. Some people post a question, get a reply and you never see them again.
