If u want to spend all the time wireing all the dash, climate control, power windows.

U can do it all but it takes alot of brain power n time to splice all the looms to get to work.

If i was goin to do it i would do all the seats, trims and maybe the dash pad n maybe just mayb the Lv 3 Dash.

I wouldnt put in the climate control and power windows if it was my car, too much hassle.

U could get rid of urs a get a calais for a lil bit more than wat it would cost to get all the parts and then ur time gettin it all fitted.

And if u werent goin to do it ur self then it would cost a hell of alot more than upgrading into a calais or stato.

Jus to add ur better off to get calais seats, the rear seat on stato is bigger n needs to be re-trimmed for it to fit so u can close the door, as stato's are wider

everything should be there ready for hook up,although possibly not the power windows, you would have to go and find a wrecked VN calais to get the power window module and the gear to go along with it,climate control will fit straight in,same dimensions as standard executive, pick em up off ebay for $5-$20,then you'd have your interior to do including roof lining, cluster from memory fits straight in..as for dash pad there is no difference..not in a VN calais anyrate, apart from the badge.which is double sided taped on

If you have a wrecked VN Calais and want to swap all the good bits - go for it. 2 weeks tops to have it all swapped. Its a good idear to use the whole loom from the car you get all the bits from. THEN you will be able to start it after the swap. L3 dash will go in but the trip computer will not work until wired in.

Just go out and buy a VN-VP Calais mate, save yourself time and hassle.. And atleast when you go to sell it its a 'Calais' and not a mockup.

not set up...well actually yeah i s'posse it is,the controller handles it all,but then again you would have to get the ambient temp sensor....,to my knowledge the heater cooling set up is the same, just that the calais has the fancier looking digital face plate with all the options, and is the same dimension as a standard VN heater/cooling switch...after all they are all vaccuum operated

statesman seats do fit in sedans. i have a set in my car. they are not wider. they are deeper. as the statemans are a longer car they made the seats so you can sit right back into them. they just have a extra piece so when the back doors are open you can see a bit of the seat. but when shut, ya don't really notice it..

the climate control is a lot more than just the control panel.
I have done the conversion to my vn. there is a lot of stuff that needs to be changed and added to make it work properly.

did the full conversion from vn executive to calais options. all power windows, powewr mirrors, central locking, lights in the doors, getting cruise control, set up for level three. just stay with original looms and parts. the problem u might mind is holden keep changing the plugs n that around so its true to get a donor car
