    Default King Springs - Low/Superlow

Which should one choose? Low or Superlow? 35mm V 50mm. I'm thinking it would be smarter to go with the 35mm low springs?

If its for a Vn go ultra low. Or super low at the very least or you will be very disappointed.

Ok, Ultra Lows front and back? How much do they lower the vehicle generally? And would they drop it below legal requirements at all?

I'd agree. Go super low in the front and ultras in the rear. Remember when going ultra's u will also need to go for short shocks

Ok, why do you use different springs in the front and the back? And do you need to replace the struts when changing to lower springs? Oh and I saw a thread about having to use an adjustable pan hard rod to correct for the diff changing position when you lower it? Can someone explain that to me a little better?

you need the adjustable panhard rod to algin the diff to the centre of the car. get ultras at the back and super lows at the front, it so the back sits a lil lower than the front. when the springs are the same the ass end sticks up.
you dont need to change the shocks but its better to change them off course.

will ultra lows in the rear and super lows in the front have the back end if the car sit just flush on the top of the rear wheel or what will it take to have the rear sit flush?

Thanks heaps mate, super lows it is. That Vn is pretty much identical to the one I have now, same front grill, pretty much the same black marks on the front haha. Almost thought it was for a second but there are some differences.

Definitely the smarter way, might not look as good as ultras but it will handle great, be legal and safe..

I put King springs SSL progressive in the rear there's no need for shorter shocks in the as the progressive spring is still trapped . I'm unsure about king springs front I have a set of pedders SL front springs and needed shorter front shocks to keep them encapsulated

Err understeer? If anything my VR over steers more now with the ultras in the rear due to have sfa suspension movement and absorption. Would take that over super lows any day but.

Yep, Used to understeer with the ultra's because the arse end was lower then the front (also the weight of the gas tank and sub would have contributed).

And suspension travel was a bitch on mid corner bumps, even with shorter bumpstops.
