    Default Brakes RE: V/N/P/R

    1. Will VR rotors bolt up to VN/VP's?
    2. If "no" is there adapters that enable this?
    3. Can standard pads be used with slotted + coss drilled rotors?
    4. Do i need a bigger master cyclinder to run bigger discs?
    5. Are rear brake rotors the same as front brake rotors?

vr rotors should if its non abs, standard pads can be used with slotted. if your keeping your brake calipers the same a larger master cyclinder shouldnt be required. rear rotors are not the same as front rotors. as front rotors have bearing cups in them to attach to the hub while rears slide over the hub on the diff

vr/s rotors wont fit a vn/p without hub adaptors.

you can use normal pads with slotted/drilled rotors, tho they will chew through quicker(on any pad)

    front and rear are different.

it would pay to go a bigger master cylinder with bigger discs, as they usually get quite spongy when bigger discs are used with stock master.

and the finned vr calipers will bolt up to vn, but you need to run the vp 289mm discs(which is a good thing, as the vn's are 270mm stock)

    4. Do i need a bigger master cyclinder to run bigger discs? No, you only need a bigger MC when you change calipers.

Not saying its not a good buy, just not the group A setup so expect a slightly sponggy pedal.

    The C4's use a 4:1 booster and a 1" master cylinder. The C5's use a 4.25:1 booster and a 1" quick fill master.

so the group A kits come with a c4 then? ... can you use a 1" quick fill on a c4? or is it pointless?

that, and how much difference does a 4 - 4.25 make?

ALOT, i thought much the same when i went from slotted standard VT brakes to my PBR setup(343/289) and damn i couldnt imagine living without them. Going to this kit would be even better. Brakes can never be too good.

Im running this setup on my VN6 and it brakes incredibly nice and smooth comparing to stock.

    DBA Slotted Front Rotors
    Bendix Ultimate Pads(incredibly DUSTY)
    SuperDOT 4 Fluids

Next upgrade will be doing the rears.. You can really push your car harder when youve got the safety of stoping much later and much smoother.. I rarely go more then half way on the pedal.
